Psalms 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Astrophotography is a challenging hobby, but a lot of fun! The wide field images are simply a camera and tripod set up to take long exposures mostly. The ‘Deep Space’ images of course are taken through the telescope. My set up (I call it the JRB Observatory) consists of a pier-mounted 127mm refractor with a dedicated astronomy camera attached. The images can sometimes take hours to capture and create, but that’s the fun part. There are many beautiful objects passing overhead that you would never know existed if it weren’t for the camera and long exposures…….
I hope you enjoy….
